Summer Hockey Camp 2010 - Join The Fun!

Rock Ice Center is proud to announce its Summer Hockey Camp 2010 under the direct supervision of John Puskar, owner of Rock Ice Center. The Summer Hockey Camp is designed for boys and girls 6-14 years of age to have week long FUN and strengthen the various skills essential to becoming a competitive hockey player. Jeff Gorman, of World Hockey Training along with John Puskar will also headline selected weeks. On ice instruction includes: skating, passing, shooting, stick handling, team play and controlled scrimmages leading up to Friday’s BIG GAME.

Fall Hockey/Winter Youth League

Registration for the Fall/Winter Youth League is now underway. The league is for Mites (2002 birth year or younger) and Squirts (2000 and 2001 birth years). Players will have an 18 games season, 14 practices, and playoffs. Fall/Winter Youth Hockey League Registration

It's Time For Stick Time

A perfect way to work on your puck handling skills with other skaters. Full hockey gear is required. Wednesday nights 7:15 - 8:45PM. Friday nights 6:30 - 8:00PM. Fee of $20 and $10 for additional family members.

New Public Skating

Rock Ice Center is proud to announce Public Skating on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11:15AM - 1:15PM. Adults - $10, Kids - $5. Skate rentals are $5.

The Summer of 10,000 Shots

This challenge is designed to not only help players improve their shooting technique and power, but also to show them the power of setting goals and working to achieve them. The goal of the challenge is to shoot at least 10,000 pucks over the course of the summer (June 1 - August 31). Use our attached spreadsheet and record your daily shots taken. Players are able to set goals for themselves based on what is realistic and feasible for them. Return your spreadsheet along with a cool photo on September 1st. Participants who shoot 10,000 pucks or more will be shown on Rock Ice Center’s website. Also, all challenge winners will be entered into a drawing for a special prize. Have fun and good luck.
